Will You Be Pressured into Swine Flu Vaccination?

by Vin Miller

Swine Flu VaccineThe incidence of swine flu is expected to surge this fall and a vaccination has already been rushed into production. Despite growing concerns for the safety and insufficient testing of this vaccine, measures are already under way to heavily promote it, and in some cases, make it mandatory.

There’s a good chance that you or someone in your family will be pressured to receive the swine flu vaccine this fall. Are you prepared?

The Risks of Swine Flu Vaccination

I previously wrote about the potential dangers of swine flu vaccination and included videos from an old episode of 60 minutes discussing some tragic results from the 44 million swine flu vaccinations that were administered in 1976. The swine flu vaccine currently being tested is apparently very similar to the one used in 1976 and presents many of the same risks.

As Dr. Jennifer Ashton points out in this CBS News video about swine flu vaccination, all vaccines carry some level of risk and this must be weighed against the risks of the targeted illness. Both Dr. Jennifer Ashton and Barbara Loe Fisher, the president of the National Vaccine Information Center, agree that a large majority of swine flu cases are mild and do not justify the risk of vaccination. In general, there has been an unnecessary dramatization of the swine flu that has the potential to mislead and frighten many people into thinking that they need to be vaccinated.

According to Wayne Madsen, an investigative journalist, even scientists who were involved in the creation of the swine flu vaccine advise against taking it.

Mandatory Vaccination

Many people, including myself, consider mandatory vaccinations to be a violation of basic rights. However, the government sees it differently. Massachusetts has already passed legislation that allows for uninvited entry into private property, forced quarantine, and forced vaccination. Those who refuse to comply can receive up to a $1,000 per day fine and up to 30 days in prison. Perhaps other states will follow suit.

In the upcoming weeks, it’s very likely that many of us will be strongly encouraged to receive the swine flu vaccine, especially school children. Barbara Loe Fisher explains why giving the swine flu vaccine to school children is a bad idea.

Who is the Government Really Protecting?

Drug companies are notorious for being deceptive, and in many cases, have lobbied the government to support their efforts. As Dr. Mercola points out, the government protects vaccine manufacturers from lawsuits related to adverse vaccination reactions. Although this has the benefit of enticing hesitant drug companies to manufacture vaccines, it greatly reduces the incentive for these companies to take the proper safety precautions. This lack of liability is even more of a concern with the prospect of the government pressuring us to be vaccinated.

As Barbara Loe Fisher points out about the problems caused by the gardasil and swine flu vaccines, the safety regulations are not being appropriately observed or enforced. According to Barbara, even the FDA and CDC admit that adverse reactions to such vaccines aren’t reported properly.

What You Can Do

The most important thing you can do to help protect yourself from swine flu or any other illness is to support your immune system by living a healthy lifestyle. You can get started right now by taking my free course 7 Simple Steps to a Leaner, Happier, and Healthier You.

It’s also important that you maintain adequate levels of vitamin D. Some experts believe that the sharp increase in illness during the winter months is a result of vitamin D deficiency. As such, getting adequate sun exposure during the summer, and if necessary, supplementing with vitamin D could have a significant impact on your ability to fight off illness.

In addition to protecting your health, it’s also important that you protect your rights. I encourage you to educate yourself through resources such as the National Vaccine Information Center and make it known to your local politicians how you feel about mandatory vaccinations. You can also sign this petition sponsored by the Health Freedom Foundation to inform state and federal legislatures that you are opposed to mandatory vaccinations.

My oldest son suffered severe permanent brain damage with encephalopathy after DPT and MMR immunizations 20 yrs. ago. The medical professionals all insisted it couldn’t possibly have been caused by the shots, and that the shots were perfectly safe, even though they had no other explanation for his brain damage. Shortly after that they stopped using the whole cell pertussis vaccine in this country and switched to a “Safer” vaccine. If there was no risk, how could another vaccine be “Safer”?

A little bit of research shows there are ingredients in all vaccines that have no business being injected into the body. Building a healthy immune system through healthy lifestyle is the correct way.

In the end it all boils down to money. There is a massive amount of money to be made by vaccinating everyone who is gullible enough to fall for it.
No one in my household will be vaccinated.

  2. Vin, thanks for your continued campaign of education and health freedom. Tens of thousands of people die from the normal flu every year and from the very beginning of the swine flu freak in the U.S. I have been saying that people who had it didn’t seem to be as sick as people normally get from the flu.

Thanks for your voice in trying to stop the madness.

This what I added in the petition (It is time I needed to be a bit bold – raw words) :

Freedom is one the pillars of humanity, we can work together to preserve it! We need freedom to survive, even those who enforce non-rational mandatory threats like this. Think of exactly what freedom is one more time, you won’t take it for granted!

We only need real knowledge and real action to save ourselves, because it improves our ability to rationally think. We are real human beings just like you with feelings and emotions, so I ask you to think again, on what makes us human.

You sure do not have to waste your precious resources on these. I understand you are at lower position than anybody who has thought of this, you can still do your best to preserve your freedom. And I know you don’t like these things to happen, if your intuition tells you.

I understand the pharmaceutical companies are threatening the government, they don’t need to be.

And I love you as a fellow human being, because you have the potential to transcend barriers.

At least the form allows us to put the state as ‘Other’.

Thank you all for your comments!

meatlessmama – I’m so sorry to hear about your son. I hope his story helps to make many more people aware of the risks associated with vaccinations and the fact that most of them are unnecessary if you take care of your immune system. Yes, there’s unfortunately a lot of profit to be made from vaccinations and that certainly doesn’t help matters.

Stephen – Thanks for your support! My father in law and sister in law both had swine flu recently and didn’t seem to have any more trouble with it than a regular strain of the flu.

ægil – Thank you for participating in the petition and helping those of us in the U.S. avoid mandatory vaccination!

  5. Hi Vin, I am glad I found someone as passionate about this as me. My son asked the other day if he would be getting a swine flu vaccination as they are thinking about giving every child one. I told him he definitely would not be getting any vaccination and explained the reasons why, as above.

It amazes me the propaganda used when something like this breaks out and the only people to win are the drug companies.

Thanks for sticking your neck out Vin, and being a voice of reason.

  6. Vin Miller says:

Hi Steven! It’s great to hear that you’ve take responsibility and informed yourself and your family about the risks of vaccination.

Yes, the propaganda is very disappointing. I recognize the fact that vaccines do have an important purpose and are probably very expensive to produce and test, but that’s certainly not justification to push them on people who don’t need them, especially when there are risks involved.

My friend got this email from someone she went to high school wit h and fwd it to me. Thought I would share with you!

Subject: From a doctor I graduated with (lives in Germany)

I have been receiving many questions about the Swine Flu Vaccine as of late. Recently (last few months), while traveling through airports, i have seen many people wearing masks, supposedly to protect them from the Swine Flu.

Yesterday, a patient asked me if i would have my family vaccinated. I had to control my emotional response to this question, and try and answer it with reason and logic. I went on to explain that i feel each person should make a decision on their health based on sound information and NOT emotion (read fear).

    When you inject something into the blood stream you are bypassing the bodies base line of defense. Our bodies are created to take something into it in three ways;

    1. Through the mouth (eating, drinking and swallowing)
    2. Through the nose (inhaling, or breathing in)
    3. Through the skin (absorption)

When you inject something into the body, the body has no way of filtering out those substances that will do us severe harm.

This Swine Flu vaccine is being dispensed to the health care workers first. What spurned this patient to ask me about this was the controversy surrounding the German Health care workers just saying NO to the shot. I don´t want to give my opinion on this, but just ask yourselves, why would the people who have studied the human body, and caring for human life, say NO to something that is supposedly good for us?

I encourage any of you who are THINKING about receiving this shot to do some of your own research (take a look at the human trials they have done so far, and see how many fatalities have occurred). As i have stated before, i think it would be wrong of me to push my opinions on others, but i do encourage you to ask questions, particularly about the safety and efficacy of anything that someone wants to inject into your body!

    Yours in health,

    Dr. Mark J. Styers

  8. Roy says:

I think swine flu was a conspiracy by the vaccination companies. But many of my other collegues think that it was designed to eradicate people, however I think the whole thing was just hyped by the media who were controlled by all those companies and coporations who were the ones that sold the vaccinations to the many different governments. Do you guys agree??

    • Vin Miller says:

Hi Roy, thanks for your comment!

I’ve read a number of alarming conspiracy theories regarding both the swine flu vaccination and the swine flu itself. Given the shameful things that we’ve seen industry and government do in the past, they wouldn’t be hard to believe. However, it’s difficult to prove most of it to be anything more than speculation. The best I think we can do is to make informed decisions for ourselves and not blindly follow the lead of others regardless of their credentials.
