Being impatient as a 14-year old in oct. 2005, being impatient, I just looked at the summary part of each habit on the 7 habits of highly effective *Teens and never looked back. My brother's friend thoughtfully let him borrow it, but I just saw it laying around (bother sick that time), so I decided to take a look.

At least I understood most of it that time, but I've put it more into perspective by fully reading this article on the context of health. I second Paul and Beth's comments!

Oh, on my comment on not sacrificing health for appearance article, I was referring to the being proactive part of this article. I glanced through this article (again not going through all of the words in this article) on my first days of getting information from this site.

Hi George, thanks for compliment! :)

I think the book is mostly intended for a corporate audience. Although I don't care much for that aspect of it (not that it's bad, it's just not for me), I think it covers some great concepts that can be applied to any aspect of life as I tried to do with this article.

Vin, write the book, yours is a lot more inspiring, creative, and useful than the original.

My favorite habit is "Sharpen the Saw". I have my clients read about that one. The main emphasis is to not "let everything go to pot, literally and figuratively "... I am a strength and conditioning coach and this is especially important with people over 30 that are not pro athletes.
