Hi Kaylin, thanks for your comment. I think that's more than enough incentive.

I think we have so many opportunities to better the society we live in and to treat the diseases we fear the most. To not have to see our loved ones suffer painful deaths, isn't that incentive enough?

Hi Jeanne,

Thanks for sharing that touching interview. Michael J Fox is quite a trooper and is a testament to why we need stem cell research.

I'm also touched by his sentiment of not wanting to trade his experience with Parkinson's disease. Although my health challenges have been far less significant, I wouldn't trade them either. They've created awareness and opportunity that I value highly.

I recommend that everyone watch this interview on YouTube and also that you visit Jeanne's blog to read her post about it.

Vin,

I understand there is controversy associated with this issue but I fully support President Obama's decision to lift federal limits. For a very interesting documentary on Parkinson's (but that also talks about other illnesses, by extention), see my relatively recent blog post... (My screen is locking up now but just do a quick search on Michael J. Fox in the top left search box and you should find the post). It includes a Katie Couric interview Of Michael J. Fox and it also includes the PCS documentary.
